Be honest about your feelings with your partner too, so you&#8217;re both on the same page about who and what is most useful to you right now.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><strong>Write Things Down<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dates, questions for the doctor, baby food recipes, things you don&#8217;t want to forget. It is always good to keep a memory journal: first smile, first laugh, the day they started crawling, funny things they say or do. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Write things down! Being a mom is a full-time job, you always have to deal with your professional life, kids, and your partner. It will help you and your partner both communicate better and have more patience for each other. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><strong>Listen to Yourself<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No one knows your baby better than you (you carried them for 9 months). Everyone who even thought about being pregnant at one point in their lives is going to offer you advice and commentary about pregnancy and child.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On the other hand, Don&#8217;t spend too much time on Google: you don&#8217;t want to look up every symptoms you think your child might have or see exactly what stage of development your baby is, but you&#8217;ll drive yourself crazy.
