What Our Families Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about the Kiidu matching, hiring, subscription and replacement process.

What information do I need to provide to Kiidu?

When you contact Kiidu, provide details such as the type of professional you need, location, schedule, employment type, required experience, language preferences, responsibilities and any specific household requirements. Clear requirements help our team identify more suitable professionals.

How does Kiidu match my requirements with a professional?

Kiidu reviews your requirements and identifies suitable professionals based on factors such as experience, skills, location, schedule, availability, language and the responsibilities of the position. For specialized requirements, our team can further refine the search according to your household needs.

What happens before I interview a professional?

After suitable professionals are identified, Kiidu can provide the relevant candidate information and help arrange the interview process. Families can then discuss the professional’s experience, responsibilities, working conditions, schedule and other requirements before deciding whether to proceed.

What should I discuss during the interview?

Families should discuss relevant experience, daily responsibilities, working hours, salary expectations, language abilities, household rules, schedule and any special requirements. Clear communication before hiring helps both the family and professional understand the expected working arrangement.

What happens after I choose a professional?

Once you decide to proceed, Kiidu guides you through the applicable payment, documentation and hiring or booking process. For long-term employment, the applicable employment terms and required documentation should be completed before the professional begins work.

Do I need to pay a subscription for part-time hiring?

Yes, eligible part-time and full-time hiring arrangements are covered by Kiidu’s hiring subscription or applicable service fee. The subscription applies to the hiring service and is separate from the professional’s salary. The applicable fee, payment schedule, service period and terms will be explained before you proceed.

What happens if I don’t receive any staff profiles?

If you have not received any staff profiles for your selected service within 30 days after paying the subscription fee, you may be eligible for a refund under the applicable subscription terms. Approved refunds are processed within 15–30 working days from the date of the refund request.

What happens if the professional is not suitable after starting work?

Contact Kiidu as soon as possible and explain the situation clearly. Our team can review the circumstances, clarify the original requirements and determine the appropriate next step. Depending on the situation and applicable service terms, this may include communication support or beginning a new matching process.

How does the replacement process work?

When a replacement is required, Kiidu reviews the reason for the replacement and confirms the family’s current requirements before beginning a new matching process. We then look for suitable professionals based on the position, experience, schedule, location and household requirements. Replacement matching depends on suitable professional availability and may take time.

Is a replacement guaranteed?

Replacement support depends on the applicable service package and terms. Kiidu cannot guarantee that a suitable replacement will be available immediately. A replacement must still meet the family’s requirements and be available to accept the position, and the family may need to interview and select the new professional before the placement is confirmed.

Can I post a review or complaint about my experience with Kiidu or a professional?

Kiidu welcomes genuine feedback and encourages families to contact our team directly when they have a concern about a professional, placement or service. This gives Kiidu an opportunity to review the situation and work toward an appropriate resolution. Public reviews and statements should be truthful, accurate and based on the customer’s genuine experience and should not contain false allegations, misleading information, confidential information or defamatory content. Kiidu reserves its rights under applicable law regarding unlawful or defamatory statements.

Does Kiidu handle the required employment and labour process?

For applicable domestic-helper and long-term employment arrangements handled through Kiidu’s licensed employment-arrangement service, Kiidu handles the required employment-arrangement documentation and reporting in accordance with applicable Thai requirements. This includes required reporting to the relevant Registrar where required by law. Specific requirements depend on the employment arrangement and applicable regulations.

Who is responsible for the day-to-day relationship after placement?

Once a professional begins working in a household, the family and professional are responsible for their day-to-day communication, household instructions, working relationship and agreed responsibilities, subject to the applicable employment agreement and Kiidu service terms. Kiidu can provide support according to the service purchased when issues arise.
