The Global Day of Parents
Celebrated on June 1 each year to honor parents and parental figures for their role within families and their commitment to children worldwide.
Today Kiidu – Bangkok’s on-demand nanny service – would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Global Day of Parents.
Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012. Within a public declaration, the UN also noted that parents of every race, religion, culture, and nationality in all parts of the world were the primary caregivers and teachers of their children.
This day is therefore to recognize parents as vital in providing protection and positive development of future generations.
