International Pair Brings Empowerment & Education to Women

A Shared Mission and Vision

Brought Alfiah, CEO of Kiidu.com, a Thailand based startup created to help parents source qualified and trustworthy caregivers, and Michelle LaRowe, award-winning nanny, parenting author and creator of NannyTraining, an online training platform where nannies can earn their professional nanny certificate, together.

As a mother of two who has traveled extensively across Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia with her children, Alfiah observed the difficulty in securing quality childcare and desired to bring positive change to the caregiving industry.

By pairing technology with the need for quality childcare, her platform allows parents to find trustworthy and qualified caregivers quickly and with ease and efficiency.

Our mission is not only to easily connect parents with qualified and trustworthy caregivers on demand, said Alfiah, founder of Bangkok based Kiidu.com.

We want to empower women working as nannies through education and ensure that children cared for by our nannies receive the best care.

NannyTraining

Michelle LaRowe, a nanny turned industry expert, knows firsthand the impact education makes on nannies- and the families they serve.

A quality nanny is an educated nanny. Nannies who have the knowledge required to provide safe and attentive care take great pride in their work and ensure that the children they care for receive the highest quality of care, said LaRowe, who has worked as a nanny, past Executive Director of the International Nanny Association and currently serves as managing partner of eNannySource.com and Houston-based nanny referral agency Morningside Nannies, in addition to being the lead educator at NannyTraining.com.

There was a great need for nannies to have affordable and easy access to high-quality and industry specific training, and I am glad we are meeting that need at home and abroad.a?

Partnership

Through their partnership, nannies who register with Kiidu.com will have access to NannyTraining.com professional nanny certificate course.

The course takes 25 to 45 hours to complete and consists of 13 units covering topics from basic child safety to special situations nanny face when working in the in-home environment.

The course is self-paced and accessible from any device with an Internet browser. Nannies who complete the course earn a certificate.

I am really happy that we found a partner who is as passionate about ensuring children receive great care as we are, said Alfiah.

I know this opportunity will not only benefit nannies who can increase their childcare knowledge, but will benefit the children in their care and the parents who employ them.
